Simple and comfortable crop top. A good beginner's project. Must be sewn from stretchy fabric.
Descripcion
Especially in summer, a simple crop top like this is one of my closet basics. Especially in simple colors like white or black, it goes perfectly with any outfit. This time I bought a really wild fabric, but I also have the top twice in white. It is definitely also suitable for beginners. I used my overlock when sewing. This is a machine that cuts and finishes the edge at the same time (i.e. sews it nicely). Even if you don't have an overlock, you can sew the top with an elastic stitch (e.g. the zigzag stitch on your household sewing machine). Have fun with it!

Materials
You need a certain amount of basic equipment for all sewing projects. This usually consists of
- Sewing machine
- Yarn in the matching color
- Fabric scissors
- Thread scissors
- Tailor's chalk
- Printer to print out the pattern, ruler to check the measurements and a pair of scissors.

Fabric choice
In general, you are quite free in the choice of fabric. That's the beauty of sewing your own garment. But since fabrics differ in strength, elasticity, stiffness, and many other properties, here are a few fabrics with which the garment works particularly well:
- Jersey
- Elastic fabrics (DOGS min. 70%)

I love you're patterns but why don't you have bigger sizes then size 46 for the free patterns.... I'm going to try size 46 but will give it away.... I'm sorry I can't wear it because i love the tie front blouse!!

Hi, Brigitte! Love all the way from the Yucatán! I've yet to sew with knits, this will be my first time. Question for you: My bust size is an exact 86cm and my waist is 77cm. Which of your Pattern sizes would you recommend? I fear that if I make it in EU 38 (88cm / 72cm), the arm holes will be too big and there will be a huge gap between my body and armpit of the garment. What would you do / suggest?

Hallo Brigitte, das tut mir leid zu hören, dass das bei dir nicht geklappt hat. Der Schnitt ist für elastischen Stoff ausgelegt, d.h das Schnittmuster ist z.B an der Taille ein wenig kleiner/enger als die Taille an sich, da der Stoff sich dehnen soll. Ansonsten ist noch wichtig, beim Drucken 100% einzustellen und mit dem unten beim Schnitt die Zentimeterskala zu überprüfen. Das steht auch alles nochmal genau in der Anleitung. Hallo, Vielleicht hab ich was falsch gemacht, aber das Schnittmuster war 28 cm zu klein. Ich habe EU42 ausgedruckt und die Schnitte waren jeweils 7 cm zu klein. Schade. Ich weiß nicht, wie man einen Schnitt vergrößert Gruß Brigitte

Loved it, this with the dirndl blouse, could make a full dirndl look plus a skirt, or if you would to make a dirndl dress pattern... I WOULD LOVE IT <3

Hallo Andi, danke dir für das Feedback! :) Meinst du das Schließen der Wendeöffnung? Man kann den Saum auch anstatt mit der Hand einfach mit der Maschine absteppen. Dann sieht man die Naht zwar ein wenig, aber ich hab auch ein Top mit der Option und es gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Eine andere Option ist noch, die werde ich in einem Zukünftigen Video zeigen, dass man eine Wendeöffnung an der Seitennaht lässt. Dann kann man den Saum unten komplett schließen und die Seitennaht im Nachhinein einfach mit der Maschine von rechts zusammennähen, dort (innen) fällt es noch weniger auf. LG Julia

Ein wirklich tolles Schnittmuster , vielen,lieben Dank dafür!! Ebenso das tolle Video!! Ich habe heute ein Top für meine Tochter daraus genäht😍 Leider komme ich nur mit dem Schließen des Saums nicht zurecht, gibt es dazu vielleicht noch einen Tipp? Ganz liebe Grüße Andi

Hey Jennifer, I didn’t have any testers in this size when I created them, and I didn’t want to just “upsize” the measurements but wanted to create high quality patterns that really fit. But I am currently already creating the existing patterns in bigger sizes, for example the midi dress includes sizes until 52. All the best and soon, I hope I can also publish them for the the Croptop. Julia
