Beautiful dress with an A-line cut and a boat neckline
Descripcion
The denim dress is a simple A-line dress. Thanks to its boat neckline, it doesn’t need a zip and is therefore quite easy to sew. I think the lining gives it a very elegant look, as there are no visible seams. Personally, I think a slightly stiffer fabric works really well here, so that the A-line really comes into its own – for example, denim, jacquard or even thinner upholstery fabrics.

In general, you are quite free in the choice of fabric. That's the beauty of sewing your own garment. But since fabrics differ in strength, elasticity, stiffness, and many other properties, here are a few fabrics with which the garment works particularly well:
